What Does this MRI Scan Result Mean?

having difficulty lifting my right leg. MRI conclusion ( There is a grade II spondylolisthesis L5-S1 with marked level due to bilateral pars defects, sever Caudal foraminal narrowing bilaterally contacting the exiting L5 nerve roots) what could be the treatment options?

hello dear ,
i understood your problem,as your are diagnoses with spondylolisthesis means part of your back bone is fractured.
which results in pressure on nerves results in your symptoms.

so intially doctor manages disease by medication pain killers.

if not relieved and progressive they do it by surgical correction.


for now you go with this medcine.
1)Tab hifenac p BD for 5 days.
2)tab gabapentin 100 mg for 15 days
3) tab neurobion forte plus od for 30 days
4)tab shelcal 500mg OD FOR 30 DAYS
5) take high calcium diet and high fibre diet.
6)avoid heavy weight lifting and work involves bending.
if pain inspite of this treatment go orthopadecian get surgical correction.
